Muon detector system

The muon detection system consists of two scintillation counters ($\mu$SC and $\mu$SCA), two pairs of multiwire proportional counters ($\mu$PC1x/y and $\mu$PC2x/y) and the time projection chamber (TPC). $\mu$SC, $\mu$SCA and $\mu$PC1x/y are placed between the beam vacuum window and the entrance window of the pressure tank - $\mu$PC2x/y and the TPC are mounted inside the pressure tank operating in 10 bar hydrogen.

The final good muon stops will be evaluated off-line and must pass the following criteria:
